About Darryl

Darryl’s thirty year social work career includes experience in hospitals, community health, foster care, child protection, aged and disability services, local government, crisis centres, private practice and tertiary education. He has also worked as a manager in hospitals and local government, and as a trainer and mediator. He co-founded and was for 12 years Coordinator of the Professional Supervision Unit at the University of Melbourne Counselling Service.

Since 2001 he has supervised more than 100

• youth, housing and community workers
• managers

in workplaces ranging from hospitals, carers’ organisations and community health, to the Red Cross, emergency housing, local government, community arts and CASAs, in a variety of metropolitan and regional settings.
